Cassandra Clare is known for her New York Times best seller series, “The Mortal Instruments” and “The Infernal Devices” (the prequel to “The Mortal Instruments”). Clare has written a total of 11 books all, on the subject of shadowhunters. Shadowhunters are the children of angels who hunt the evils of the world. After finally finishing her sixth and final book in “The Mortal Instruments” and the third and final book in “The Infernal Devices,” Clare wrote “The Shadowhunter Codex,” which helps explain even more of the evils within the world.
